Football season is in FULL swing. Our Las Vegas local indoor team, the Hawks, won the national championship a couple months back, the UNLV’s Football team is WAY over-playing their pre-season expectations… and… we won’t talk about the Raiders 🙂

Luckily, thanks to some amazing volunteer coaches in both Henderson & Summerlin… Gabe’s flag football team is currently undefeated and the season is in full-swing! This is his first year of flag football for Gabe, and Karina & I are waiting for his request to play tackle football (which will be a tough family decision). But he’s learning the game, learning about teamwork, and learning how to listen to coaches in a team environment! 

I have to tell you, one of the BEST things about living in Henderson is our local parks, countless sports leagues, and the amazing parents who give of their time to coach these kids out of the goodness of their hearts. Thank you to all the amazing coaches out there!
