It’s time to plan your Halloween night festivities. My lovely wife has gotten the short end of the stick since we had kids, as HER birthday is on Halloween. This year we will probably trick-or-treat Friday night, party with friends Saturday, and then I owe my wife a great date-night on Sunday for her birthday 🙂
We are planning on getting the Halloween season started off right by heading out this Friday or Saturday night to attend the:
Parade of Mischief returned to Downtown Summerlin on Friday, Oct. 3 presented by Universal Horror Unleashed. This free event is family-friendly and features Halloween-themed floats, dancers, and characters. The parade takes place every Friday and Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. through Oct. 25, with the next ones on Oct. 17–18 and Oct. 24–25.

🏡 Summerlin developer sells $100M land tract
The Gist: Howard Hughes Holdings sold 240 acres in Summerlin for more than $100 million to Hearthstone, a California-based land investor. The site, known as the Back Bowl, is planned for over 400 homes by Pulte Homes in a guard-gated community just south of The Summit Club.
Why It Matters: The deal marks one of Summerlin’s biggest land sales in recent years, underscoring the area’s strong demand for luxury housing. It’s another sign that Summerlin’s growth shows no signs of slowing as new communities continue to rise in the desert hills.
